Housing Task Force

Task Force Mission

In order for the City to grow and the economy to recover, the City needs to help ensure an adequate supply of high-quality, mixed-income housing. Every neighborhood in New Orleans should be safe, livable and prosperous. The Housing Task Force will recommend a comprehensive housing strategy that focuses on creating and supporting livable, sustainable communities of opportunity, neighborhoods with schools, access to jobs, health clinics, public transportation, parks and playgrounds, and community centers.
